Materials: DSLR Camera, RODE Shotgun Mic and Premiere pro
For this project our goal was to record clips of a classmate reading a chosen text with different camera angles with proper audio levels. For my text I chose a section of Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Raven”. I think my audio was recorded relatively well, my main issue was the audio getting a bit to high when the camera was closer to the subject. Almost all clips were in focus and has proper exposure. I did have slight trouble with the ISO having the subject be to dark at first, I think I was able to overcome it for the most part. Location there wasn’t much background / white noise for the most part besides a fan. Lighting I like how it turned out, I think changing some things around to light the subject rather than the background would have helped.Watching it back I do wish I had added moving shots rather than just stills at different angles to add a slight bit more interest.
