The purpose of this project was to take a photo of a still life of your choosing and paint it using a color scheme: analogous, complementary, split complementary, triadic, or square.

For this project I took a picture of a my bearded dragon, I chose to do split complementary with red, yellow green and blue green.

I struggled with the technique, painting has never been my strong-suit, realism is something else I struggled with. I used my prior knowledge from other projects to render the image in a more painterly style, while using more illustrative techniques to ad hatching and line work.
